This easy to install, compact electric clutch is used in many hydraulic applications, including commercial fishing boats and parasail boats. The clutch may installed clockwise or counterclockwise. The clutch surface is tempered to provide rust protection.

Mounting Bracket 13256 recommended for new electromagnetic clutch installation or if replacement bracket is needed (sold separately).
Drive flange bolt pattern and pilot diameter on clutch work with ""Spicer"" type 1350 - 1410 series driveshaft flange connections. Proper drive shaft selection is important. Drive shaft alignment must be within 3 degrees. Driveshaft Alignment Tool is sold separately.
Important Installation Step: Clutches require a short burnishing period to generate the rated torque. To burnish, install the clutch and run at 1000 to 1200 RPM. Cycle the clutch on/off no more than four (4) times per minute so that the surfaces can mate together. In most applications 30 - 50 cycles are required for burnishing.
